Aldo "Caveirinha" Januário is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Carlos Gracie Jr., widely regarded as one of the top grappling instructors in the world. A pioneering figure in the sport, Caveirinha has played a crucial role in the development of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and has trained some of the most accomplished athletes in the grappling world.
Caveirinha's students include notable competitors such as UFC fighters Rafael dos Anjos and Paulo Henrique Costa, as well as top grapplers like Philipe Della Monica, Rodrigo de Freitas, Gustavo Saraiva, Igor Araújo, Cesar Casamajo, and Maycon Carvalho. His influence extends beyond Jiu-Jitsu, with several of his students excelling in MMA as well.
In addition to being a revered coach, Caveirinha is also the brother of two other respected black belts in the Jiu-Jitsu community, Adão "PQD" Januário and Fábio Januário.
